These terms are an agreement between you and renasca LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, covering the renasca app and renasca.co. By using renasca you agree to them.The short version: renasca is a place to keep your goals and share what you choose with a few people. Your content is yours. Be decent to the people in your circle. We’ll do our best to keep it running, but it’s an app, not a guarantee about your life.WHO CAN USE RENASCA
You need to be at least 16 years old. You’re responsible for your account and for keeping your password to yourself.YOUR CONTENT IS YOURS
Everything you put into renasca (your goals, your notes, your photographs, your comments) belongs to you. We don’t claim ownership of it.You give us permission to store it and show it back to you, and to show the parts you’ve chosen to share with the people in your circle. That permission exists so the app can work, and it ends when you delete the content or your account.You’re responsible for what you upload. If you add a photograph to a goal, you should have the right to use it. If you share your board outside the app, that’s your decision and your responsibility, including any images in it that you didn’t take.YOUR CIRCLE
Circles are small and invite-only. You choose who joins by giving them a code, and you can remove anyone at any time.Be decent to the people in yours. Don’t use comments to harass, threaten or abuse anyone. If someone in your circle behaves poorly you can report them, block them, and remove them, and we may suspend or end the account of someone who does.We don’t monitor what people write to each other, and we’re not responsible for what someone in your circle says.WHAT RENASCA IS AND ISN’T
renasca suggests small steps toward goals you set. Some of the plans and suggestions are drafted by a language model, and the app tells you when that is the case.renasca does not give financial, medical, legal or psychological advice, and the steps it suggests are not a substitute for professional guidance. Decisions about your money, your health and your relationships remain yours. Where a goal touches on any of those, please use your own judgement and seek proper advice.EVENTS
Where renasca lists events, tickets are usually sold by a third party, and their terms apply to the purchase. Anything about refunds, cancellation or attendance is covered there.If we have to cancel or change an event we’ll tell you as soon as we can. Attending is at your own risk and you’re responsible for your own behaviour and belongings.THINGS NOT TO DO
Break the law, or use renasca to help anyone else do so.
Upload anything you don’t have the right to upload.Try to access someone else’s account or data.Interfere with how the app works, or attempt to get around its limits.
Use renasca to harass, abuse or impersonate anyone.Copy, resell or redistribute the app or its content.ENDING IT
You can delete your account at any time from within the app, and your content goes with it.We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we do, we’ll tell you why unless there’s a reason we can’t.We may also stop offering renasca, or parts of it. If that happens we’ll give you reasonable notice and a way to get your content out.CHANGES
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we’ll tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use renasca after that means you accept the new version.WHAT WE PROMISE, AND WHAT WE DON’T
We’ll do our best to keep renasca running and to look after what you put in it. But it’s provided as it is: we can’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or that it will help you achieve anything in particular.We’re not liable for anything you do or don’t do as a result of using renasca, or for losses that we couldn’t reasonably have foreseen. Nothing here limits liability for things the law doesn’t let us limit, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.THE LAW THAT APPLIES
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.If you’re a consumer in the United Kingdom or the European Union, this doesn’t take away the protections you have under the law where you live, and you may be able to bring a claim in your own country’s courts.
